What the Bible says
What does the Bible say about justice?
God is just: “all his ways are justice” (Deuteronomy 32:4), and righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne (Psalm 89:14). His people are to do justice, love kindness and walk humbly with him (Micah 6:8), to judge impartially and defend the fatherless and the widow (Leviticus 19:15; Isaiah 1:17), and to leave vengeance to him (Romans 12:19). At the cross God showed himself both just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus (Romans 3:26).
